A Rides (Avid)
Ride Information
The ‘A’ Riders typically ride 150+ miles per week. The Ride Leader will ensure that everyone is accounted for during the ride. If you cannot keep up with the group, the ride leader will ensure that you find your way back home. The exception is the TOA ride - if you are dropped on the TOA ride, then you need to ensure that you get back to a known location

Routes
Weekend routes will be determined by the Ride Leader and will be announced through Google Groups. Weekend rides will be 40-60 miles.
The Wednesday night ride is called the "Tour of Anaerobia" or TOA. The TOA ride is 28 miles and is a "drop" ride. The pace is fast throughout the route with pace lining, one major hill climb and two sprints. At the top of the hill climb on Rock Run Road there is a regrouping unless you've significantly fallen off the pace. The first sprint is on Aldino Road, just after the airport. The finish line is at the end of the large fence. After the first sprint, the route turns left on Mahan Road and loops back around to Aldino Road for another sprint in the same spot. Safety comes first, so if there is traffic, rain or other hazardous conditions, the sprints will be cancelled.
